Description:

Calling all KDE artists!

The new release of the GAIA suite is imminent! GAIA09 promises to be an awesome release. Check out the site and the official mockup.

This SCREAMS for a Plasma theme, possibly with a QtCurve config, colour scheme and DeKorator theme as well.

I was going to do this but due to time and personal circumstances I can\\\'t. I know there are a lot of good KDE artists on here.

Here\\\'s an awesome opportunity to show what KDE4 can do!

This would be awesome to see realized! The one thing KDE 4 is lacking, next to gnome, is the total customizability of the UI. Wish I could do more than make a program print "Hello World" :P

This is a signature... it is mine.

Hi,

Beautiful !

If this theme become a reality, it will be the best KDE 4 theme.

I think the best way to do it is :
For the windows, QuantumStyle, who seem to be a good engine with svg theme.

You need to create an icon theme. For kde, the best way is to create svg icon... Maybe the best way is to mix your icon and oxygen.

The plasma theme is not difficult to make, i think... when i see all the different plasma theme, i think we can do all we want !

I think some thing couldn't been doing like this in kde, like the notification.

Sorry, but i can't help you, i'm not an artist and i never make a theme.

Alsa sorry for my english ;)

I could do this easy enough as a plasma theme(this is the sort of thing plasma is great at)

Some more details would be great.

I've actually started work on the plasma theme :)

We can't have them pointed tooltips but the rest seems doable.
