Description:
Simple Plymouth and KSplash (http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php?content=145828) theme with pie progress animation to visualize boot progress from the beginning all the way to the desktop (I just simply cut the pie in half, so the first part is for Plymouth and the second for KSplash).
This should look great/awesome on all wide-screen resolutions with 16/9 and 16/10 aspect ratios.
Background image based on the work of Martin Dolezal (bazdesH), so all credits for this wallpaper (http://bazdesh.deviantart.com/art/Bleu-199784834) goes to him.
Known issues that probably can\'t be resolved easily:
- Animation is choppy
- Animation sometimes doesn\'t play to the end
Requires:
plymouth-plugin-script
Installation:
Extract archive to: /usr/share/plymouth/themes
Set default theme by executing in the shell: plymouth-set-default-theme Bleu
And finally rebuild initramfs image: plymouth-set-default-theme -R or dracut -f /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r).img $(uname -r)
