Description:

The tittle of this image, and some of this image was inspired by a Futurama episode... which ironicaly I have yet to see.

Also the lack of simitry in this image is intentional, it allows me to know which monitor is which (or at least it makes a good excuse ;-))

specs:
- Produced in Blender
- Rendured using Yafray 0.0.8

 Pic Sizing

Yes I do understand your confusion over the size of it.

I run a tripple head system at home here and since no one else makes any images for a tripple monitor system I have to make my own (this is the best one I have done so far). I share them for the 1 or 2 other people in the world running tri-monitors.

Therefor the sizing is (1280x3) 3840x1024. If anyone wants a single monitor version it will only take a few minutes to change the res and re-rendure it.

 Contrast

HDD Destruction Co.

The episode of Futurama of which you speak is great, and so is this wallpaper... almost. The contrast is very low, and I can't really see any of the 1's, 0's, and the one 2. And yes, a one monitor version would be great. By the way, what distro do you use? I haven't found one with easy to use multi-head set up. This caused me to sell one of my beloved monitors.

Any one of these would make a great signature.

Thank you for the suggestion, when I do a single monitor rendure I will deffinately up the contrast. All of my monitors have it cranked so I tend not to notice the lack.

As for distro, I run Gentoo64. I used to run Mandrake along time ago, but Gentoo is just so so fast (after you spend the 2 days installing).

Unfortunately distro plays almost no role in setting up a multi-head system since almost none of them have an easy config util. The one thing it is heavely dependant on is vidio card manufacturer.

Setting up multihead on an ATI system is simply hell on earth and tends to be very flaky. If you want to do multi-head try to use an Nvidia card, they are extremely easy to setup. If you are setting up multi-head across several cards (which is what i do), then try to keep them all from the same manufacturer and in the same product family, just for sanity sake.
