 Adult material

Can you please add a feature that allows users to flag images as being "adult material". We are trying to put linux into the schools and the odd student is finding "adult material" and porn for their kde desktop wallpapers through the kde-look.org integration. I'm hoping there is a way to flag the images as "adult" and have them hidden from the students.

Yes definitely. Some of this stuff makes Unix/Linux look like the preserve of girlfriendless nerds!

Adding flags like that is fairly useless. They can be removed too easily. Rather lock down your workstations so that the students can only install programs/change settings with a supervisor's permission.

I know that I am replying to an old post but I have to second that.

Trying to make Linux more popular on the PC also means making it a family-friendly OS. The l4m3rz who get off on pixels are messing that up.

Have you looked around for a Linux
User Group in your area?
Or browsed the operating system section
any libraries?

Those would be good places to start.

BTW. I really don't like saying this but
you should change your name.
A while back I realised that if I kept
on with names like that I would be
branded an eternal newbie.

Hello,
I browsed on the whole opendesktop.org, but I still can't find the theme Digital Cream for my desktop.
My Google research hasn't given anything, and my research here has given the same empty result.

=> Any idea on how could I solve my problem ?

Thanks in advance for your help

If you are using Debian, Ubuntu or Mint an easy way to get it would be to open Synaptic and install the gnome-art package, it's in the universe/gnome section.

FIRST go to Art/Desktop-Themes/Application in the menu and browse to Digital Cream, install it. SECOND, go to Art/Desktop-Themes/Window Border, browse to Digital Cream and install it. That will give you the complete theme. You can also use it to just download the components and manually install them. Digital Cream doesn't seem to have an icon theme specified.

Don't get carried away installing stuff with this little stinker. It is not a very intuitive app, it has no search, sort and it does not check for any installed GTK engines or anything. It makes it way too easy to make a big mess of things IMO.

It worked okay for me but I've only used it for a few themes with Debian Lenny. It should work okay for Ubuntu too.

It will also want to install a few Ruby depends and a Splash Screen Manager (which I have not used.)
